     Regardless if your project is a repair or a small remodeling project, remember, there are many parts of it that must be done correctly using the proper and best materials, or it can be done taking short cuts. And in many cases, you will not know the difference. And again in most cases, the price will determine the out come. Obviously, trust is a factor here, and professionalism includes a high sense of integrity.

     How does the above happen? Simple. Each repair or remodel is really a prototype - something that has never before been done in exactly the same manner, with exactly the same people, and using exactly the same materials. As such, your main concern should not be “price” but the caliber of the person or people you will be hiring - their reputation. It's the same reason why you prefer a nice restaurant, a certain brand of car, or clothing. Yet knowing that, for some people price is all that matters, as though they are comparing one widget to another widget, which of course we know is not the case. because “services” are not the same as “goods.”

     We don’t take short cuts. So we want to be up front in telling you that, so if you’re shopping prices, our price will probably not be the lowest price and you will be wasting your time with us. We also don’t take part in “reverse auctions”. Reverse auctions are where the home owner holds up a project to be done expecting contractors to “bid” on it, but to bid the price “down”, not up. In which case, the project is awarded to the contractor with the winning bid, which of course is the cheapest bid. Frankly we prefer compliments about us as opposed to complaints to us. For the above reasons, expect us to explain to you the hows and whys we intend to do as we prefer. Only by understanding what is involved, how it’s to be done, why various aspects should be done in a certain way, before you can make an informed and intelligent decision. We want our work and services to be correct, not on the cheap! And besides, the last time I looked, one still could not buy steak at the price of ground round.
